About the Borough:
The Borough of Bellevue is a Home Rule Charter Community situated along the Ohio River north of the City of Pittsburgh, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Bellevue has approximately 8,500 residents in one square mile with a busy business district. Bellevue Borough was incorporated as a borough in 1867 and named by a French linguist for its “beautiful view”.
- Coming from the city of Pittsburgh, follow PA-65 North past the McKees Rocks Bridge. You will shortly enter the boundaries of Bellevue. To reach Lincoln Avenue, turn right at the Bellevue Live/Worship/Shop sign and follow S. Starr Ave to the left, past the hospital. The traffic light at the top of the hill is Lincoln, with most of the businesses down to your right.
- Coming from I-79, take the Glenfield/Sewickley exit (PA-65). Follow route 65 South towards Emsworth. Once past the Avalon Motel, watch for the Bellevue Live/Worship/Shop sign on your left. Follow S. Starr Ave to the left, past the hospital. The traffic light at the top of the hill is Lincoln, with most of the businesses down to your right.
